Russia's will to hold a victory parade is becoming as absurd as it is shameful, as well as a potentially dangerous undertaking, first of all, for high-ranking Kremlin guests.
As you know, Russia's firm intention to hold a victory parade, which has already received an unofficial nickname "Parade of the Living Dead", will be realized on June 24. Moreover, the Kremlin has already sent invitations to foreign leaders, having received consent from some of them to participate in this absurd and potentially highly hazardous event.
In particular, as Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, who had recovered from the coronavirus, said in the “Russia. Kremlin. Putin” program, by the time the parade will be held, the quarantine will be lifted, and some leaders have already confirmed attendance: President of Moldova Igor Dodon, head of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the so-called president of the unrecognized South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, the so-called president of the unrecognized Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya, and the head of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov. The Kremlin emphasized that Serbian President Alexander Vučić could also come to Moscow.
