Что называется "внезапно" появился англоязычный перевод моей статьи "Зачем Россия рассекретила “Пакт Молотова-Риббентропа”.
Спасибо Anastasiya Voskresenskaya-Wieser.
Раскрытие истинных целей, которые преследует Россия, публикуя "Пакт Молотова-Риббентропа", важно как для понимания внутри Украины, так и за её пределами, среди наших Западных партнёров.
A complete surprise to many was the publication by the Historical Memory Foundation of the original non-aggression pact between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, concluded on August 23, 1939, better known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. After all, the Russian Federation is trying not to show many historical documents and keeps it secretly. For example, the same “Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact” has so far been published in open access only from the German side.
Well, one might think that Russia decided to reveal another secret, thereby demonstrating goodwill, however ... However, it is worth paying attention to the context of what happened this “historical stuffing”.
First of all, I would like to note that the declassified protocol to the pact mentions “the delimitation of areas of mutual interests in Eastern Europe”, which essentially constitutes a division of Europe. After the signing of the pact, the Second World War began with the German attack on Poland and its actual division between the Nazis and the USSR.
The publication of the document was immediately accompanied by the implementation of several scenarios, such as an attempt to return the occupied Donbass to Ukraine under the spice of autonomy, as well as the activation of populist trends in European countries. And one of the pillars of any populism is nationalism, appealing to the ghosts of historical memory, the greatness of the past and the restoration of some kind of justice.
That is, the declassification of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact is one of the elements of Moscow’s federalization operation (separation of Ukraine), which should now be provoked by statements by radical-patriotic circles and organizations (many of which are subsidized by Moscow) of Poland, Romania, Hungary about the need to return territories. Also in these Ukrainian regions can be launched separatist movements, focused on the return of Poland, Romania, Hungary, etc.
This will distract the West from the actions of Moscow in the east of Ukraine, will give the Kremlin trumps to appeal to the West that you see, western territories, like the eastern and the Crimea, which were artificially incorporated into the current Ukraine during the USSR, want to return to their homeland.
And therefore, even such a step Russia does not do it for a reason, but with malicious intent.
